After a two year hiatus from an exhaustive amount of touring (400 shows in 3 years), HUNDRED YEAR STORM returns with their 12-track epic opus The Future Belongs To The Brave. Their signature space-rock sound has been redefined around themes for our current times: recession, war, disasters and personal loss. Despite the feelings many associate with these, the message of The Future… is one of confidence, anticipation, optimism and the facing towards a new horizon. With destruction surrounding us, whether it is literal or metaphysical, addressing these events we are reminded ‘nothing ends here, our hopes and our journeys continue’.
Engineered and mastered by David Dreesen (KNOCKOUT KINGS, WIDOWS & ORPHANS), The Future… soars to HUNDRED YEAR STORM's familiar heights but takes time to come back to earth for more somber passages that it’s intense subject matter demands. From the powerful opening chords of “Look to the Skies” to the aural collage of “Dying Giant” and refrain of “Come Broken Heroes” this is the band’s finest hour.
