THE SECRET HANDSHAKE is the sole project of Canada native and Texas import, Luis Dubuc. Formed in 2004, THE SECRET HANDSHAKE originally began in an acoustic format with Dubuc relying on just a guitar and his voice. He's since evolved from those barebones days incorporating iBooks, drum machines, vintage Wurlitzer pianos, and bells, mixing both organic and electronic sounds.

THE SECRET HANDSHAKE's 6 track EP This is Bigger Than You and I showcases Luis' noticable pop pregression with lyrics hedging themes of hope, lost love, and closure.
