A split EP between THE KIRBYand BLUEPRINT CAR CRASH (The Militia Group) featuring 3 songs from both bands and artwork by David Allen (POD, HM Magazine).
THE KIRBY are the hardest working band out of Austin, TX. They bring their own blend of melody, explosive hardcore, and emotionally-charged vocals while defying genre-defining terms. Fans of At the Drive-In, The Bled, and mewithoutYou will not be dissapointed. Their most recent release Such As Cancer Is This Life... is out now.
San Dimas, California's BLUEPRINT CAR CRASH have created their own niche in the music world. Being big fans of Led Zeppelin and The Doors, the band inject a flare for odd time signatures and style to round out their sound. Their previous full length Rhetoric of a Marionette was released in May 2004 on The Militia Group.
Split is a explosive release exhaling passion, creativity, and diverse musical movement within its six-track framework. An intense indie rock assault from the THE KIRBY merges with theBLUEPRINT CAR CRASH psychedelic prog-rock experience to showcase both band's revamped line-ups and fully-realized sound.
