We are moving.
After four years in the Fort Worth area, we are packing up
and moving to Dallas. This move comes at a good time, as
we are in-between in many ways, the foremost being our new site.
We are still working on it, have a couple areas figured out so far,
but still have much more to do. Hopefully DHR version 3.0 will be
up this fall!
In the meantime, our online store will be a little slow on shipping
orders, but those will still go out as soon as possible. Those who
were patient have been rewarded.
Bandwise here is a quick breakdown:
KNOCKOUT KINGS are currently in the writing process for their
forthcoming record, release date TBA. They are also staying busy
in hardcore band The
Cut.
MY SON MY EXECUTIONER are playing shows in support of their
newest DHR release The Burning (see below). July tour dates
are being booked with Blood Of Our Enemies (Counter Strike Records).
TIEBREAKER is recording for an upcoming TBA 7" release.

The wait is over.
It's been a while since MY SON MY EXECUTIONER released their
consistent and confident debut In Between Heaven and Hell,
over three years to be exact. Now, after several tours and two almost
complete line-up changes, the group has returned to unleash The
Burning, a five-track reclamation of their power, talent and
diehard approach to all that is metal.
The Burning is fueled by the frustration of almost consistent
bad luck, canceled tours and routinely exiting players. Despite
the band's near crumbling, bassist Tyler Berry kept it in action,
taking on vocal duties and commanding a larger presence to accomplish
this follow-up. Due to his dedication, MY SON MY EXECUTIONER
is now stronger then ever and The Burning proves it.
Bred of a colossal-almost-experimental process of songwriting (which
includes now-absent band members), this EP plays with a furious
consistency and shows the group triumphant in their pursuit of true
metal. Captured flawlessly in the studio by Jeremiah Scott (The
Showdown, Twelve Gauge Valentine) and mastered by Alan Douches (Converge,
Mastodon), this EP will please fans of the past eras of MY SON
as well as cement the beginnings of their legacy in the halls of
modern metal.
THE SECRET HANDSHAKE was recently involved in a van accident.
He is safe and sound, but his most recent tour with The Maine
is not. The remaining dates have been cancelled due to further
van issues. Not to worry, he will continue endlessly touring April
6th at Bamboozle Left in California.
To help him raise money for his new van we are donating a portion
of the proceeds of sales of his EP This Is Bigger Than You and
I to the tour van fund. If you haven't picked up this CD, use
this as a chance to do so!

After five years, dozens of tours, five EPs and one full length,
widows&orphans has decided to call it quits. The Austin
group was with us almost since our formation, and recently moved
to Blood & Ink Records. Unfortunately, time and member change
after member change has proven too much, and the band has announced
they have parted ways to work on their separate projects. Michael
Foulk is doing vocals again with Mt. Hope, and Eric (drums)
and Scott (guitar) have formed an electronic project called The
Birth. It should be noted Adam (previous guitarist) has a new
band called Cobretti and Anthony (previous bassist) is working
with I Am The Dictator, You Are The Gunslinger, both bands
that hail from Austin.

MY SON MY EXECUTIONER has wrapped recording of their new
EP The Burning. We have heard the rough mixes, and this is
gonna be one for the books. The long-awaited follow-up to 2005's
In Between Heaven and Hell was recorded by Jeremiah Scott
(Living Sacrifice, Twelve Gauge Valentine) in Nashville. Artwork
is being handled by John Sant (Prosthetic Records, IBHAH). The record
is currently being mixed and will soon be mastered by Alan Douches
(Mastodon, Converge) at West West Side. Look for a April/May release.

KNOCKOUT KINGS have found a permanent replacement for their
drumming position in
Jason Merrell. Merrell previously drummed for the Fort Worth band
Empire and recently made his KINGS debut in a hometown
performance.
KNOCKOUTKINGS will now be taking a break from shows
for a while to begin writing their next record, rumored to be a
full length. More details when we hear them. Meanwhile, their website
has been updated with a statement from the band, as well as new
photos.

For over two years, hope has been kept alive that the TIEBREAKER
full length would finally see the light of day. After a long hiatus
and escape to SLC, John LaMonica, the solo performer and experimental
musician behind TIEBREAKER made a rendezvous with Doll House
and after much prodding has released the tracks you will hear
today. This signals the return of LaMonica and the music we, as
a label, have always been chasing. Experimental, fresh, honest,
and life-changing.
TIEBREAKER's debut comes from John LaMonica's heart and soul,
transplanted through multiple layers of guitar, synthesizers, samples
and drum machines. The music is still stunningly solid and genre
redefining, countering any claims of stagnation or misdirection
from digital/acoustic naysayers. Truth be told, Miracle is
just that, almost never seeing the light of day via a proper release.
It is catchy, soulful, mysterious and at times, painfully personal.
Hundreds have discovered the alternate tracks and bonus material
that is Memory Vs., now hear the original studio record the

We have been extremely busy and short on updates due to the upcoming
launch of our new website. A lot of work is going into making it
user-friendly, consistently updated and fresh with content. We are
also in the planning stages of several releases, which will be revealed
