MY SON MY EXECUTIONER

It’s been a while since MY SON MY EXECUTIONER released their consistent and confident debut In Between Heaven and Hell, over three years to be exact. Now, after several tours and two almost complete line-up changes, the group has returned to unleash The Burning, a five-track reclamation of their power, talent and diehard approach to all that is metal.

The Burning is fueled by the frustration of almost consistent bad luck, canceled tours and routinely exiting players. Despite the band’s near crumbling, bassist Tyler Berry kept it in action, taking on vocal duties and commanding a larger presence to accomplish this follow-up. Due to his dedication, MY SON MY EXECUTIONER is now stronger then ever and The Burning proves it. Bred of a colossal-almost-experimental process of songwriting (which includes now-absent band members), this EP plays with a furious consistency and shows the group triumphant in their pursuit of true metal. Captured flawlessly in the studio by Jeremiah Scott (The Showdown, Twelve Gauge Valentine) and mastered by Alan Douches (Converge, Mastodon), this EP will please fans of the past eras of MY SON as well as cement the beginnings of their legacy in the halls of modern metal.
